DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a private Certified Forensic Identification Consultant and the Chief Operating Officer for Nikoui & Associates, Forensic Identification Services and Consulting, Inc., I am responsible for managing and operation of my company, providing a variety of professional forensic identification services to law enforcement agencies, private firms, lawyers, insurance companies and private citizens. A summary of provided services are as follow:

  • Collection, preservation, documentation and recovery of latent print impressions from a variety of objects and surfaces
  • Analysis, comparison, identification and verification of friction ridge impressions, i.e. finger and palm prints
  • AFIS processing (Automated Finger and Palm Print Identification) utilizing the FBI/NGI system via ULW software
  • Comparison and analysis of footwear impressing
  • Technical forensic photography and digital imaging
  • Expert witness testimony in courts of law
  • Training law enforcement agencies personnel in proper handling, collection, preservation, documentation and processing of physical evidence at crime scenes or in laboratory
  • Technical and administrative latent print review and result verification
  • Crime scene investigation and evidence collection
