- Use of AFIS Technology: We use advanced AFIS technology to efficiently and accurately search, compare, and identify recovered latent finger and palm impressions for law enforcement agencies. In cooperation with the California DOJ, the FBI/NGI (Next Generation Identification), and local law enforcement agencies, we can arrange and assist in the installation of the FBI ULW (Universal Latent Workstation) system at no cost to the agencies. Our certified fingerprint analyst can travel to these local law enforcement agencies to operate the locally installed ULW systems and process and identify the agencies’ recovered latent prints. Due to FBI rules and regulations, this service is not available for private cases.
